Terms of Service


Throughout this Notice “Site,” “we,” or “us” refers to the web site “Lead Sheet Station,” as identified in the copyright notice on the web site.
The data and information contained in the pages on the Site are copyright of the named organization. All Rights Reserved.

Please note that the information available on the Site may be incomplete, out of date or incorrect. It is therefore essential that you verify all such information before taking any action in reliance upon it. By accessing the material on the Site, you acknowledge that the named organization will not be liable for any action you take in reliance on the information held on the Site.

The named organizations will not be liable to you under any circumstances whatsoever for any direct, indirect, punitive, consequential or special damages arising from your use of the web site.
By submitting an order to Lead Sheet Station, you (the “Customer”) acknowledge your acceptance of the preceding and following terms and conditions:

  1. Standard payment terms: in order for us to begin work on a project, payment in full is required in advance. This may be done through Google Checkout or by check; please note that a Customer’s check must clear before we will start work on that order.
  2. Prices quoted on the Site are subject to change at any time.
  3. Customers who cancel their job requests after work has begun will forfeit a part or all of their payment in order to compensate Lead Sheet Station for time spent on that work.
  4. Where Lead Sheet Station cancels a job, Lead Sheet Station will refund all payments made in relation to that work.
  5. After seven business days of payment (or after check has cleared), the Customer has the right to request a full refund of all payments made for that order if the order has not been completed. “Business days” include Monday to Friday and do not include U.S. public holidays and week-ends. If a refund is requested, all work on the order will be stopped and both the Site and the Customer will be free of any further obligation in regards to that order. Refunds will be made within two business days of the Customer’s request.
  6. The final product for transcription work will be in the form of a PDF file prepared at a resolution suitable for printing. The file or files will be returned using either email or a link to a Google document.
  7. Lead Sheet Station will correct errors and faults that it is responsible for at no cost to the Customer. Upon request, additional modifications not specified in the initial order may be completed by the Site for an additional fee.
  8. The Customer warrants that it has copyright in, or a license to authorize reproduction of, all music (“Works”) supplied by it to Lead Sheet Station for the purposes of transcription and printing. The Customer authorizes Lead Sheet Station to reproduce any and all of the Works for such purposes.
  9. Unless the Customer advises to the contrary, the Customer additionally licenses Lead Sheet Station to use small portions of the Works in its own promotional materials to depict the quality or range of its goods or services.
  10. The Customer indemnifies and will keep Lead Sheet Station indemnified against any liability, loss or expense suffered by Lead Sheet Station as a direct or indirect result of any use of the Works by Lead Sheet Station pursuant to clauses 8 or 9.
